Archives from the District of Columbia entitled, "Marriages--Washington, DC to 1825", report that Mary Roberts married Thomas Wannall in Alexandria County, District of Columbia, on June 24, 1816. This would put the marriage about 12 hears later than the birth of Thomas Wannall's first son, William, meaning this was not Thomas's first wife. Since we do not have the birthdays of the other children of Thomas Wannall, we cannot know which, if any, were the sons of Mary Roberts.
