| Of
Mary McCausland's five children, we have information on only two, Charles
Pasco and George W. We know that Charles was named for and raised
by his uncle, Charles P. Wannall, and settled in Missouri, where some of
his descendents live to this day. As for, George, he too was from Baltimore
and served in the Civil War. We believe Mary's husband, William, was living
in Washington, DC, in 1850, so what happened? Why were two of her sons
in Baltimore with an uncle? Did Mary die? Or did she and William
divorce? We hope to continue piecing this puzzle together with the help
of contributions from our visitors.
