| According to marriage records from Washington, DC, Mary married Charles
P. Wannall in 1835. Her husband was listed as a grocer in 1843.
An obituary on Mary listed her date of death as 6/20/1848, and reported
in part, "...On Tuesday evening, the 20th, instant after a protracted illness,
which she bore with Christian resignation, Mrs. Mary Wannall, wife of Mr.
Charles P. Wannall, of this city. Her friends and acquaintances are
invited to attend her funeral, from the residence of her husband, tomorrow
(Thursday) afternoon at 4 o'clock."
