| Ruth Monaghan was
retired from Bell Telephone, where she had worked for many years as a telephone
operator. Her son, Robert Jr. died an infant, and is therefore not profiled
in these pages. After her breif marriage, Ruth and her daughter Barbara
lived with her mother Rebecca in Silver Spring, MD. After Barbara married
and moved away, Ruth stayed on until her mother died in 1982. Ruth will
always be remembered as a loving, self-sacrificing woman who put religion
