| Maxine
was the first wife of Charles R. "Buddy" Wannall, and bore him his only
two children. Maxine's father, Ernest, was of German heritage, the only one
of the five Willkens sons to be born in America. Maxine is the family member
who attempted to establish the genealogy link between the Charles Pasco
Wannall's wife, Harriet Isabell Hudson, and the famous explorer, Henry Hudson.
