| Becky is one of the many generous contributors to Wannall.com. She
was named for her maternal great-grandmother, Rebecca Reeves Wannall, and
her maternal grandmother, Alice Virginia Smith Wannall. Becky grew up in
Swansboro, North Carolina. She went to college in Jacksonville and GMU
in Washington, DC, where she studied COBOL computer programming and business
law. In 1982 she went to work for the Department of Defense as a GS03 clerk/typist
at Cherry Point, NC. Twenty-two years later she is still in the same office,
but has worked her way up to a GS11 systems analyst. Becky kept her second
husband's last name (pronounced "Vey-loo") for professional reasons. Her
