to one of her children, Leona was raised by one of her grandmothers, most
probably Mary E. "Mamie" Downey Wannall. Leona and Russell were living
in Fountain Inn, SC, when they died. Of the children we know the
following from a couple of sources. Mary Theresa Crowe was born on
January 1, 1957. Martha Ann Crowe Binder was born on January 17,
1958. Caroline Rose Crowe Barilovits was born on March 26, 1959.
Loretta Elizabeth Crowe Jarvis was born on March 2, 1961. William
Thomas Crowe was born on March 19, year unknown. The birthday of
Patricia Kathleen Crowe Suttle is unknown. Joseph Patrick Crowe was
born on February 14, year unknown, and Frances Judith Crowe Gunter was
born on May 12, 1969. The other two children, Daren Marie Crowe and
an unknown son, both died at birth.
