| Although Ray-three
was born in Pennsylvania, both of his parents were natives of the Washington,
DC, area, and Ray was raised in the suburbs of Washington. After
high school, Ray spent four years as a military policeman in the U.S. Army.
After his discharge in 1967, Ray joined the Montgomery County (Maryland)
Police department and became a traffic officer. Almost four years
later Ray left the police to return to college full-time, and received
his degree in 1974. Ray now lives in Baltimore, MD, with his second
wife Lynne, where they both have owned and operated a computer software
business named BASIC Software Corp. since 1982. Ray, a computer consultant
and sometime author, is listed in several of the Marquis "Who's Who" editions.
He is the webmaster of "wannall.com".
