Using the Forum (chat rooms)
Our mission with this site is twofold. First, we want to provide a clearinghouse of information on everyone, living or deceased, named "Wannall". Secondly, and just as important, we want to give all Wannalls from around the world a forum, where they can meet and communicate easily and inexpensively. To implement this second objective we have attached a system of chat rooms.
There are 999 chat rooms available for meetings at any one time, and you get there by clicking on "Forum" on the home page. Rooms can be open forums for all to attend, or they can be locked and used for private, more intimate discussions. Family members can arrange to meet in a specific chat room at some specific time, and individuals attending the meeting can break off into private rooms if they desire. Chat rooms allow you to be anonymous. You are asked to type in the name you want to use when you enter a chat room, and this becomes a temporary identification for the current chat session only. You may use your real name or a temporary alias. If you like, you may provide personal contact information to others in a chat room. It is entirely up to you. We suggest you visit the chat room page and review the additional documentation presented there before using one of the rooms.
Chat rooms are free, easy, and just a local phone
call away! Please let everyone in your family know about our chat rooms
and don't be afraid to instigate a chat. Check out the open chat rooms
every time you visit wannall.com to see if a chat is in progress. If so,
go ahead and join in. Who knows? You may meet some long-lost relative you
didn't know even existed!
